Professor Saliba represents the ipv at E-Fuels-Conference in Munich

On the 4th of September, Professor Saliba took part in the E-Fuels Conference in Munich. This conference was organized by the German Federal Minister of Transport, Dr. Volker Wissing. The guests included transportation ministers from the G7, EU and Global South as well as experts from science and industry.

The participants discussed challenges in the production of synthetic fuels and opportunities for effective scaling, among others. Professor Saliba is happy he was able to represent the Institute for Photovoltaics in the discussion. He is convinced that E-Fuels can only be produced in a sustainable way with renewable energy from photovoltaics: “Today’s creativity is the base for tomorrow’s innovation.”
